Blockader is a challenging and fast-paced 2D roguelite arena survival shooter. Between runs, your goal is to stay alive as waves of enemies get stronger. If you get hit too often, your run might end quickly. Luckily, the game lets you improve both your offence and defence with a variety of upgrades. Let's fight and beat any waves that are coming.
In the game, your characters are in a ring, and waves of baddies are coming from all sides. Also, watch out for the strong shooter standing behind them. Each of these tiny threats or a bullet from the sniper, costs you a life. When you run out of lives, the game ends right away.
If an enemy is nearby, your gun will automatically fire at them, so you don't have to aim and shoot anything. Moving around the ring is all you have to do to stay away from them and the fire outside the ring. Deal with the hordes until there are no more people left.
To get upgrade cards in Blockader, you have to clear the waves and earn stars. Your character's skills and abilities will get stronger as you choose one. Then you'll be ready for the next waves of enemies.
You don't need to rush; carefully think about each upgrade option and how it will change the game, then choose the ones that work best for the way you play. More importantly, don't think of your upgrade options as separate choices. Instead, see them as parts of a bigger plan.
Buy offence, defence, and utility gear with the stars you've earned to make your character even stronger. Pick the ones that work best with your strategy and the way you like to play. Blockader also has a skill tree. You can use your stars to unlock the skills and branches you want to use.
